The Polish Journal of Applied Sciences  (Pol J Appl Sci)  is a quarterly, open access, peer-reviewed and refereed international journal published by the University of Lomza (Poland) since 2015.
Articles in Pol J Appl Sci primarily address traditional questions of public health. The scope of the journal includes all branches of public health- health communication and health information technology, health economics, general data protection especially in in medical entity, public health challenges in globalizing world as well as many others. Authors include both established and early-career scholars and practitioners.

 

Review Process
Reviewing Guidelines:
1. Each article submitted to the Polish Journal of Applied Sciences through the journal's online platform at: https://pjas.ansl.edu.pl/index.php/pjas/login undergoes a formal assessment by the Editorial Board. Only manuscripts that meet the formal requirements are forwarded to the review process.
2. The Editorial Board appoints two independent reviewers, who are experts in the relevant field and not affiliated with the author's institution, to conduct the review.
3. The double-blind review process is applied, ensuring that the reviewers and the authors anonymous to each other.
4. The review process is conducted through the journal’s online platform. The review is completed using a review form.
5. The review must contain a clear recommendation from the reviewer regarding whether the text should be accepted for publication in its current form, accepted with revisions, or rejected.
6. In the case of two negative reviews, the article is rejected. If one review is negative, the Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision on whether to accept or reject the paper.
7. Reviews are sent to the author. If revisions are necessary, the author submits the revised text to the Editorial Board via the journal's platform.
8. Reviewers do not receive financial compensation for their reviews.
9. A list of reviewers who collaborated with the journal in a given year is published on the journal's website.

Author, who submits the paper, bears the main responsibility for given data. „Ghostwriting” and „guest authorship” are the symptoms of scientific dishonesty, and all discovered cases will be exposed, including informing suitable entities.
